Kelmscott - Bush Kinder Adventures

Our Bush Kinder program is offered to all ages weekly (please note the day changes weekly to ensure all children have the opportunity to participate.)

Bush Kinder Bush Kinder program is based on the Forest School learning methodology. The Forest School ethos focuses on an approach to learning that maximizes the emotional, social and developmental benefits of education.

The Forest School approach encourages children to explore their own innate learning in the richest classroom we have – the outdoors.

Children need:
• more risk
• to be more active
• more independence in own learning
• more play
• to think outside the norm
• real life experiences
• to understand flora and fauna – biodiversity
• open ended learning experiences

Freo Kids Early Learning Kelmscott’s Bush Kinder will operate with an absence of constructed man-made materials and resources will invite open ended interactions, spontaneity, risk taking, exploration, discovery and connection with nature.

In the last few weeks the weather has given us all a great chance to also jump in puddles which both our Freo Kids and Educators love!
