About Insight Early Learning Kelmscott
Our centre in Kelmscott is open for enrolments!
Located conveniently on Albany Highway, a few hundred meters from the Armadale-Kelmscott Memorial Hospital, Insight Early Learning Kelmscott is perfectly situated for both area residents and commuters.
Promoting healthy living and active lifestyles, Insight Early Learning Kelmscott is a light-filled centre wrapped around lovely old-growth trees. Our newly renovated playground focuses on natural designs, which will help children learn through play, encouraging their curiosity and activating their imagination.
With the Garden to Plate Program, the children learn about all aspects of gardening, including recycling and composting. This program will teach them about sustainability and the seasonal produce by using ingredients harvested from our garden to create delicious recipes in our modern commercial kitchen. Children will grow up cooking, eating and sharing delicious food while learning lifelong skills including preparing, cooking meals, cleaning, and making healthy food choices. This supports their natural curiosity and understanding of life cycles, nature and the season.
Incorporating farm-to-table nutrition supports not just the health of our children but also encourages their interest in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Maths) learning. We also foster healthy relationships with animals through our hatching and animal nurturing programs.
Excursions and external visitors are an important part of our curriculum and learning philosophy. One of the favourites of our children and Educators alike is our BUSH KINDER program. This program that sees the children explore our nearby bushland gives them increased confidence, motivation and concentration, improved social, physical and language skills and deeper conceptual understandings and respect for the natural environment. We also have a 12 seater bus for excursions a little further away, where we connect with the community.
Our external visitors include Happy Feet, visits from Police, Ambulance and local wildlife teams to introduce us to new animals.

I'm Ashleigh, and for the past 15 years, I've been dedicated to the field of education and care. My journey began with a high school placement at an early childhood centre, and since then, my commitment to fostering early childhood development has only deepened.
Starting without formal qualifications, I've steadily ascended the professional ladder to my current role as the Center Director at Insight Early Learning Kelmscott. It's a position I hold with great pride and passion.
In my role, I've come to understand and appreciate the individuality of each child's learning journey. I firmly believe that, as educators, we serve as guides, accompanying and supporting these young minds as they navigate their unique paths to knowledge and growth.
