Our Classrooms
We have a total of 6 classrooms, each tailored to meet the unique developmental needs of different age groups:
Wattle
These classrooms are designed for infants aged 0 to 12 months, providing a safe and stimulating environment for our youngest learners.
Waratah
These rooms cater to children aged 12 to 18 months, offering a space for toddlers to explore, learn, and grow.
Gumnuts
These classrooms are designed for toddlers aged 18 to 24 months, creating a space that encourages social engagement and growth.
Wombats
These classrooms are tailored for children aged 2 years to 2 years 10 months, providing an environment that encourages social interaction and development.
Joeys
Specifically designed for children aged 2 years 10 months to 3 years 6 months, this room fosters the development of essential skills and social connections.
Roos
Our Roos classroom is dedicated to children aged 3 years 6 months to 5 years, helping them prepare for their transition to school with an engaging and age-appropriate curriculum.

A beautiful, bright space that feels welcoming and friendly. My children love going to see their friends and always have so much fun. The staff are always helpful, warm, and know what my kids have been up to and how their day was (naps, food, water, etc ) I would highly recommend Insight for any parent looking for a great daycare to send their kids too.

How many licensed places are at this service?
Kelmscott is licensed for 110 children.
Do you offer a holiday discount?
Yes, we offer a 20% holiday discount on your regular fees for up to four weeks per calendar year. The discount must be taken in blocks of at least one week.
Do you offer part-time or casual bookings?
Yes, we offer casual bookings that families can manage via the Xplor Home app, as well as permanent bookings with a minimum of one day per week.
Do you provide nappies, wipes, and formula?
We provide nappies and wipes for all children. Parents supply their own formula or breastmilk to ensure your child continues with the brand and feeding routine they’re most familiar with.
Will I get updates about my child’s day?
Absolutely. Daily updates are available through the Xplor Home app, including meals, sleep times, nappy changes, and learning experiences.
Do you run special events?
We host two annual Open Days featuring family activities, food, and giveaways, as well as Twilight Tours and an end-of-year celebration with graduation and Christmas festivities.
What happens if my child is absent?
Fees apply if your child is absent due to sickness or public holidays. Under the Child Care Subsidy (CCS) scheme, each child receives 42 allowable absences per financial year. Families must notify the centre if their child is absent.
Do you provide meals?
Yes. Our services provide nutritious, freshly prepared meals each day, including morning tea, lunch, and afternoon tea.
We cater for allergies, intolerances, and cultural requirements.
How do I enrol my child?
You can submit an enquiry or enrolment request directly through our website. Our team will be in touch to arrange a tour, discuss your child’s needs, and support you through the enrolment process.
Is your service eligible for the Child Care Subsidy (CCS)?
Yes. All Insight Early Learning services are approved for CCS, which reduces the out-of-pocket fees for eligible families.
Do you offer orientation sessions?
Yes, we provide orientation sessions to help your child settle in and feel comfortable before their official start date.

Starting without formal qualifications, I’ve steadily ascended the professional ladder to my current role as the Center Director at Insight Early Learning Kelmscott. It’s a position I hold with great pride and passion.
In my role, I’ve come to understand and appreciate the individuality of each child’s learning journey. I firmly believe that, as educators, we serve as guides, accompanying and supporting these young minds as they navigate their unique paths to knowledge and growth.
