About Insight Early Learning Dubbo Stream Ave, Southlakes

Right at the centre of Southlakes Estate, Dubbo, a second Insight Early Learning centre, is coming to join the lively community – Insight Early Learning Stream Ave!

You might remember the excitement when we opened our first centre on Azure Ave back in December 2021. So, we’re expanding our IEL family so that even more children in Southlakes can get the best start in life!

Situated between Cove Circuit and Stream Avenue, our purpose-built facility is currently under construction by Maas Group Properties and will offer 92 places for children aged between 0 and 5 years.

At Insight Early Learning Stream Ave, our mission is clear: We aim to cultivate a place where learning is a joyful adventure. Our thoughtfully designed spaces will spark curiosity and provide endless opportunities for your little ones to explore, grow, and learn through play.

Absolutely. Daily updates are available through the Xplor Home app, including meals, sleep times, nappy changes, and learning experiences.

We host two annual Open Days featuring family activities, food, and giveaways, as well as Twilight Tours and an end-of-year celebration with graduation and Christmas festivities.

Fees apply if your child is absent due to sickness or public holidays. Under the Child Care Subsidy (CCS) scheme, each child receives 42 allowable absences per financial year. Families must notify the centre if their child is absent.

Yes. Our services provide nutritious, freshly prepared meals each day, including morning tea, lunch, and afternoon tea.

We cater for allergies, intolerances, and cultural requirements.

    Hi, I’m Cat Naden, Centre Director at Insight Early Learning Stream Avenue.
     
    I have over 10 years of experience in education, beginning my career as a primary school teacher before finding my passion in early childhood education. Throughout my journey, I’ve worked as an Early Childhood Teacher, Educational Leader, Assistant Director and now Centre Director, giving me a broad understanding of what it takes to support children, families and educators to thrive.
     
    I hold a Bachelor of Education (Primary) and am a qualified Early Childhood Teacher (ECT). I believe great leadership is about building genuine relationships, supporting educators to grow with confidence and creating a positive culture where everyone feels valued and inspired to do their best.
     
    As a proud Wiradjuri woman, I am passionate about embedding Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives into everyday practice and creating meaningful connections with our local community. I believe every child deserves to see themselves, their culture and their identity celebrated in the environments where they learn and grow.
     
    For me, early childhood education is about so much more than preparing children for school. It’s about creating a place where children feel safe, confident and excited to learn, where families feel a true sense of belonging, and where educators are empowered to make a lasting difference every day. I feel incredibly privileged to lead the team at Insight Early Learning Stream Avenue and look forward to partnering with our families as we continue to learn, grow and achieve great things together.
