About Little Flyers Childcare Darwin

Located conveniently near Darwin Airport on Osgood Road, Little Flyers Childcare Darwin offers a premium long day care program for children and infants ages 6 weeks to 6 years, where we aim to inspire exciting play opportunities for children as they grow and develop. We embrace the image of the child as a competent, confident, creative and active learner, and our energetic team of educators are committed to offering an outstanding learning program.

We have a total of 8 classrooms, each tailored to meet the unique developmental needs of different age groups:

• Tiwi A and Tiwi B: These classrooms are designed for infants aged 6 weeks to 16 months, providing a safe and stimulating environment for our youngest learners.

• Ibis and Egret: These rooms cater to children aged 16 months to 2 years, offering a space for toddlers to explore, learn, and grow.

• Kookaburra and Cockatoo: These classrooms are tailored for children aged 2 to 3 years, providing an environment that encourages social interaction and development.

• Brolga: Specifically designed for children aged 3 to 4 years, this room fosters the development of essential skills and social connections.

• Jabiru: Our Jabiru classroom is dedicated to children aged 4 to 6 years, helping them prepare for their transition to school with an engaging and age-appropriate curriculum.

But the fun doesn't stop indoors! Our outdoor playscapes are equipped with age-appropriate equipment for both structured and free play. It's the perfect place for children to develop physical coordination, social skills, and a deep connection with the natural world. And here's the exciting part – our playground even includes a real airplane!

Hello, my name is Liz, and I'm honoured to serve as the Centre Director here at Little Flyers Childcare Darwin. I am originally from New South Wales, Australia, and I bring a wealth of experience and dedication to nurturing young minds.

With a strong background in Early Childhood Education and a current pursuit of my Bachelor of Education, I'm committed to providing a supportive and enriching environment for children. Over the last 13 years, my career has taken me across the globe, allowing me to explore various approaches to Early Childhood Education and Care.

I'm excited to use the knowledge and perspectives I’ve gained over my time working with children to help guide Little Flyers to new heights. Our team is dedicated to fostering a safe and engaging learning environment where each child can grow and thrive.
