Tassia McCaffrey Centre Director
Born in Brazil, I am a passionate advocate for children and believe that early childhood education is the foundation for lifelong learning. With a Graduate Diploma in Teaching and Learning, I am a dedicated educator as well as centre director, and I love all aspects of early education, from meeting families to creating supportive learning environments.
I also believe that each child is a unique individual and should be respected and treated accordingly. As the welfare and well-being of each child is paramount, I strive to provide holistic support of each child’s unique requirements and interests in a nurturing, familial environment.
I believe in scaffolding children’s learning through quality interactions. This paves the way for an exploratory understanding of themselves, the world around them, and their place within it. I focus on providing experiences for the ‘whole’ child so that children can develop their skills through exploration, self-discovery, social interactions, and problem solving.
I believe that early childhood is a celebration of learning that, when valued and nurtured appropriately, fosters individuals that can positively contribute to their community and the greater society.
